Paperwork Support
Paperwork support is designed to take away the volumes of paper that clutter up managers and staff offices and working areas. Paperwork support is standard on all site-specific awards as Arrampica writes down the standards to which its trainers and assessors will work to, however this service can go a great deal further.
Arrampica can consolidate a centre's paperwork into binders, code them and add a key; write job description recommendations for staff; write a centre's entire course and education programme, produce flyers and organise printing, as well as a multitude of other tasks.
Case Study
An example of a centre having paperwork support is as follows;
A large UK based climbing centre requires for their childrens' climbing clubs are completely supported with certification to cover some 9 different climbing awards. The centre would also like to start running an outdoor programme, but is unsure of what they should do to run these courses.
- Arrampica arrives at the centre to check over paperwork in place and finds that for the most part all conforms to current best practice and therefore is willing to add the outdoor courses and children's awards to the centres portfolio.
- Approximately 1 week after the initial meeting, Arrampica will have produced draft paperwork to install a 4-phase award scheme followed by a more advance 5-phase award scheme with a charge for parents to pay for each certification and badge their child achieves. Instructors will be responsible for giving awards to the young climbers but the centre will not have to be involved with any printing or running of any scheme outside of instructing the topics according to best practice guidelines and signing off skills attained on the sheet.
- Arrampica also wrote an entire outdoor courses programme and produced working practices documentation to support the centre's application to AALS (Adventurous Activities Licensing Authority).
The above example shows that although there is a cost for the above service, the centre now services over 300 young climbers weekly in their kids clubs along and runs outdoor courses periodically during the summer months. The centre did not have to employ the skills to produce the above details and will never have to burden its very small office team with certificates and award requirements. As a result of the above turnover and popularity of the course and sessions increased more than paying Arrampica paperwork services.
If you run a climbing centre that has an office team already approaching their organisational limit, why stop expanding? Arrampica can help with a wide range of services so contact us for more details.
